May 2010 - FDW Corp is pleased to announce a price reduction for Audient's Zen mixing console. The Audient Zen is a thoroughly modern, yet classic analog mixing console combining DAW I/O integration with optional moving fader automation, transport control and the sonically pure signal path you would expect from Audient.

Designed for today's studio environments and in a compact frame, Zen features 2 inputs per channel, DAW record output on each channel, L/R mix bus, 2 stereo buses, 2 mono buses, 4 auxiliaries and 2 cue sends, plus a stereo compressor.

To streamline production, Audient has discontinued two of their initial Zen models, focusing on the more popular Zen 16MP and Zen 16MPMF. Both of these models include a mic pre, however the 16MPMF also features moving fader automation.

"We have been very fortunate to have the combination of lower than expected production costs and a favorable turn in the exchange rate, allowing us to reduce these prices substantially. This puts the Zen at a much more affordable level", stated Chris Walsh, Director of Sales for FDW Corp.

The Zen 16MPMFnow sells for $12,300 MSRP (with automation).
